Foster Boarding Home Services

When there is a breakdown in any of these areas, it sometimes become necessary to place a child in foster care. It offers a period of nurture, respite, permenancy and recovery.

Our goal is to achieve the mission of the agency for all children referred by the City of New York, Administration for Children's Services. We believe that all children belong with a family, either their birth family or relatives, or an adoptive family. If neither is available, we will work to ensure that no youth ages out of foster care unless there is a permanent family connection.
Children are placed in stable and caring homes while the agency works in close partnership with the children, birth families and their foster/resource families providing comphrehensive support services aimed at healing and reunifying the birth family.
Through our Permanency teams, we work with families to assist in services needed to resolve the problems and issues that brought the child into foster care. Each team (Social Work Manager, Expediter, Field Worker, Foster Parents and Birth Family) works together to achieve permanency.
